Recruiting farmers

Better Globe Forestry provides an inside look on the process of recruiting farmers for their farmers program. The recruitment process involves important officials, such as the site forestry manager, agroforestry agents, chiefs and local council in Kenya and Uganda, respectively, and community representatives that have been vetted by agroforestry agents. The process begins with the site forestry manager, who has continuous communication with agroforestry agents. Their resulting information is sent to chiefs and local council, and the process continues with additional agroforestry agents who register willing farmers and collect their details. The process ensures accurate representation and collection of data, for the benefit of farmers and Better Globe Forestry.
