On August 22, Better Globe Forestry participated in a conference to further expand the use of mukau (melia volkensii) in the drylands of Kenya. Thanks to new and upcoming research, participants learned more about the potential of mukau seedlings and plants, with a focus on propagation, cloning, and biopesticides. With improved participation and opportunities, research may continue on prospective mukau strategies, and allow Better Globe Forestry and partners to continue improving environmental conditions, as well as engage others in the process.
