Governmental rehabilitation of ecosystems needs to be done with care. Displacement of indigenous people may solve a temporary problem to protect trees from being cut and to sustain water. The real challenge is helping these people adapt to a new environment and make a living there. Without proper education, sources and help, it can be disasterous for the people who are forced to move.
Better Globe Forestry already has systems in place to train farmers and villagers how to protect the nature and make a living in a dry and harsh environment.
