Making Things Easier for
Farmers in Kiambere

Now that the rainy season has begun in Kenya, Better Globe Forestry is preparing for seedling distribution for farmers, many of whom live out of range of the tree nursery site In Kiambere. These farmers are not expected to travel long distances for seedlings from the main nursery, so Better Globe Forestry has made an effort to take seedlings to farmers through temporary seedling holding and collection centers. The reduced distance saves farmers from incurring extra transport costs and reduces mortality rate of seedlings that are damaged during transportation.
