Better Globe Forestry focuses on the need to fight poverty by promoting massive tree planting and sustainable agricultural programs. It is in this focus that Better Globe Forestry has been interested in the process of cloning their mukau trees, which is something that cannot be accomplished alone. In collaboration with the University of Nairobi, Kenya Forest Research Institute, and the University of Ghent — Belgium, Better Globe Forestry held an event in August in Nairobi based on the progress of propagation and utilization of mukau. Successful cloning practices of mukau can ensure production of high quality plants that can grow and develop quicker than they would through typical agricultural practices.
