Tree Measurement in
Kiambere

The trees at Better Globe Forestry's Kiambere plantation have planting years ranging from 2007 to 2020. Better Globe Forestry has been conducting yearly tree measurements to track growth data for trees in all Better Globe Forestry plantations over time. On March 4, Better Globe Forestry hosted a team of stakeholders from the Capacity Development for Sustainable Forest Management (CADEP-SFM) and Kenya Forestry Research Institute (KEFRI) lead by Katsuro Saito, a Forestry Extension Expert of CADEP-SFM. Their mission was tree measurement data collection for preparation of Melia growth curve.
