For the second year, The Financial Times (FT) ranks the fastest growing companines in Europe, compiled with research company Statista and judged by revenue growth between 2013 and 2016. The FT 1000 lists the companies in 31 European countries that have achieved the highest compound annual growth rate in revenue between 2013 and 2016. Only six companies in Norway made it to the list, where Better Globe got ranked as #3, and #2 in Europe within the sector of agricultural commodities.
For the seond year in a row, Better Globe AS in Norway makes a nice ranking (#1325) among the Inc. 5000 list of Europe's fastest-growing companies, based on 3-year revenue growth. The 3-year growth from 2014-2016 was 539 percent. We are happy for the recognition of our sales, but are a lot more proud and happy for being able to increase our efforts in Africa, where it is needed.
The Gazelles are Norway's fastest growing and most successful companies. A Gazelle must have at least doubled its turnover in four years and earn money. Every year, Dagens Næringsliv proclaims Norwegian counties and the country's most successful gazelles.
Better Globe AS received a Gazelle prize for fourth place in 2016 with a 602 percent increased revenue for the past four years. For 2017, Better Globe made it among the top 10 again in competition with 146 other nominated companies in Østfold, Norway.Rino Solberg, CEO of BEtter Globe Forestry, has recently been acknowledged for his work in humanitarian relief. Business Worldwide Magazine has awarded him the Most Responsible CEO and Forestry Industry 2017 award for his work in East Africa with the environment and community. This award is representative of Solberg’s journey into the entrepreneurial world and his goal to use his knowledge for philanthropy purposes.
The winner of this award was chosen because of his desire to address social problems and find creative solutions to help people in need.
On February 22, 2017, Better Globe AS earned the position of 1145 on the 2017 Inc. 5000 Europe. This is Inc.'s ranking of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the European continent based on three-year revenue growth.
For 36 years, Inc. has welcomed the fastest-growing private companies into a very exclusive club. Considering the millions of private companies operating throughout Europe, being listed on the Inc. 5000 Europe is a significant achievement. The average company on the list increased sales by more than 331 percent since the start of 2012, while the average honoree grew 485 percent. Better Globe showed a growth of 602 percent.

Dagens Næringsliv has since 2003 awarded and presented the Norwegian Gazelles in conjunction with what is now called Bisnode Credit AS. They award few companies in each Norwegian county, where one of them will become the national winner.

On October 28, 2016, Better Globe AS received a Gazelle price for an honorable 4th place out of 110 other nominated companies in Østfold, Norway. The sales company's turnover has increased with more than 600 percent over the past four years, where they had NOK 22.4 million in revenue in 2015.

Better Globe Forestry received the distinguished Taxpayers 2015 award for Best Corporation Tax Yield — Small and Medium Enterprises. Lawrence Muema, Finance Manager of Better Globe Forestry, accepted the award on behalf of Better Globe Forestry in a ceremony graced by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The award says: Tulipe Ushuru Tujitegemee, which means "Embracing the challenge of self-reliance." This is the long term goal of Better Globe Forestry in matters of poverty eradication.
It is important to note that this year's Kenyan Revenue Authority did not award based on the volume of cumulative taxes paid, but based on the ratio of taxes paid to revenue. This can only be achieved through compliance. The fact that our projects are long term was equally a factor in the decision-making process.
In 2015, Better Globe Forestry was shortlisted to the Humanitarian Water and Food Award among 12 others. We did not make it to the finale in Italy, but got noticed for our work.
